The creative company PS21 opens an office in Barcelona after four years of business and creative success in Madrid. The project will be led by Enric Nel-lo, co-founder, manager and executive creative director, and Jaume Leis, co-founder, head of art and creative director, with the aim of replicating the business model of its parent company with the culture and local identity of Barcelona.
The agency will replicate the strategy developed by PS21 in Madrid: apply intuition and creativity throughout the value chain to transform businesses but with a strong local culture. PS21 Barna team has been working in the local market for two decades and knows the idiosyncrasies of the city, the language and its character. The incorporation of Enric Nel-lo and Jaime Leis to the project is an important injection of talent to the project.
Enric Nel-lo has held executive creative directorships at Proximity, Havas, and Grey Spain in addition to being Executive Vice President at Shackleton Barcelona. Jaume Leis has led art direction at Proximity, BBDO, Shakleton and La Comunidad (Miami). Enric and Jaume have won awards at the main national and international festivals, 39 lions at Cannes, Grand Prix at EFI, FIAP, El Sol, Echo Awards, John Caples and ADC.

The launch campaign goes under the concept ‘Barcelona is not what it was’, a recent and almost popular expression used in BCN to criticize the management of the city in recent years. Under this claim is developed a manifesto that claims why it is a good time to open a business in Barcelona. The manifesto has been printed and pasted in selected places in the city.
The positions of Beatriz Arce, general manager of PS21, and Sergio García, strategy director of PS21, will be transversal to the Barcelona office. Moreover, the team starts operating with a structure of six profiles: Aïda Vendrell, account supervisor; Judith Chafer, account executive; Javier Fernández, art director and María Armisen, creative copywriter, in addition to Jaume and Enric.
FCK brand, an evolution of Full Circle Karma and acquired by the Jungle21 creative ecosystem in May 2022, will continue to operate within PS21 Barna as an innovation unit, offering services to its current clients and dedicated to specific projects.
